Tia was not only fixated on bouncing back to be stronger than ever, but to also evolve into one of the best, and most compassionate clinicians.

Tia Jackson is a Licensed Athletic Trainer. What interested Tia to athletic training, was a knee injury playing basketball in high school.

With this injury, Tia was eager to learn more about athletic training and physical therapy. After numerous bouts of rehabilitation and surgeries, Tia was not only fixated on bouncing back to be stronger than ever, but to also evolve into one of the best, and most compassionate clinicians. Applying this life experience, Tia can empathize and relate to her patients, striving to get them back into competitive sports. Tia strongly believes in building relationships and trust to reach her patients' goals. Tia explains, “As athletes we sometimes take our physical abilities for granted, until our way of life or what we know is taken away, we can feel lost, like our identity or independence is gone.” She is passionate about getting active individuals back to their activities stronger, more efficiently, and increasing their confidence in their abilities.

In your very first appointment she will listen to your "WHY", and your goals become Tia’s goals. Then, Tia will test various functional movements and specific testing to understand the root cause of your pain, or decreased function. Tia values communication, and education on her findings. She enjoys educating her patients and believes knowledge is power. The next step is correcting the inefficiencies-mobility, stability, and pain found in eval. The most rewarding part of Tia's job is getting to see her patients back out doing what they love, crushing their goals!
